The French Loop Hair Style

(This style is a variation on the French Twist, designed for longer hair.)

Start by gathering all the hair into a ponytail and give it a few twists.

As you twist, lift the ponytail up over your head. Continue twisting the entire time, until the length of hair is completely twisted.

Hold the end of the ponytail with your right hand; hold the middle of the ponytail with your left hand.

Make a loop and tuck the length under the twist with your right hand.

Use a large hairpin to secure the loop at the top. Don't worry about stray pieces - they can be smoothed over with a comb when finished.

Use a smaller hairpin to secure the two sides of the loop together at the top of the French Twist.

Note: small bobby pins can be used to hold the hair in place underneath.
