The Herringbone Braid

This is a variation of the classic braid, using a herringbone weave to create a slightly different than usual look.

Make a ponytail and divide it into two sections.

Take a small section from the right side and add it over to the left side. Take a small section from the left side and add it to the right.

As you can see in these two photos, when you keep repeating these steps the herringbone braided pattern will emerge.
